Hello!
Boy, have we been busy! It has been so wonderful to see all of you families in the last few weeks. Thanks so much for making it out to all of the fun events we've had. The children have LOVED getting to show you all that they've learned, and it warms my heart to see how dedicated you are to their success. I know it has been a lot, but thank you for taking the time to make it all happen. I'm just trying to add some fun and adventure to these stressful weeks of review and testing!
Please be reviewing your students math skills throughout the week. We will start our Math Benchmark on Thursday. It's a big one, so we have been working hard in here. You will see their work coming home and can review from that. Look at the problems they are having trouble with and help them try to understand their mistakes. I am sure you have noticed and been told that I have stopped the homework. They have had so much pressure lately that I wanted to take a little of it off; however, I will be sending a few things here and there just to refresh their minds. There will be several things on the benchmark that we learned early on, so the work will be a good refresher.
That is it for now. I hope all of the research projects are coming along nicely. Please let me know if you need any help at all. I can help get materials or information if you need help. Also, I wanted to offer any posters or visuals that we used in the classroom for their displays. We have an awesome Ziggurat in here, tons of cool, laminated pictures, etc. Just let me know! I am so excited to see everyone!
