The Red, White, and Blue Videos

Here are a couple of pictures from our jumping castle party and our March family reading night. Our class was rewarded with popcorn and free recess with the jumping castle for raising so much money at our school carnival! We has so much fun jumping! We also enjoyed a fun evening of reading with our families! It's always great to get to come to school with mom and dad and hear a favorite story!

Nursery Rhyme Video

Hi. This is Landry's Dad. I enjoyed watching the nursery rhyme presentation. I thought I would share the video with you guys. Sorry that Landry was front and center on much of it. But I think you guys will enjoy seeing the video of your class.

Texas Snow

After our wonderful Nursery Rhyme preformance, we got to have a SNOW DAY! We've been waiting for another cold day to order ice and make snowmen! We have been learning all about winter and how everything changes around us. The temperature drops, sometimes it snows, animals do different things, we wear different clothing, etc. We learned a little bit about the three stages of matter as well as we saw our snowman melt and vanish! We had lots of fun!

Rhyme Time!

The following slideshow is of our Nursery Rhyme play on January 28. We had a wonderful turnout with nearly every single Kindergartener participating! Ms. Urban's class recited and acted out three rhymes: Pease Porrige Hot, Hey Diddle Diddle, and The Crooked Man. Landry's dad, Mr. Biddison, was able to video it for us. He has edited the video to our class only. Please look for that to come soon!

Go Cards!

Here are a couple of pictures parents have sent me. Landry and Charissa are having a blast watching the Cardinals and cheering for Jereheme! I love hearing all of the stories each Monday morning how your families got to see Jerheme on TV! I do apologize if you feel that I have brainwashed your child this year. I simply told them the Cowboys were great until they told Jerheme he couldn't play for them anymore. The kids didn't think that was very nice at all! ;) Thanks for supporting Jerheme and hopefully you'll seem him again next year!

Add or Subtract?

We have been working up a storm with our addition and subtraction! We love numbers! We have lots of fun games we play to help us with these skills. You can see us here putting together and taking away to help us learn about adding and subtracting. We will keep working hard to learn the basic understanding of computation and will even have some number facts memorized for First Grade!
